Josiah Wilson (LIBREX Crypto Consulting) walked us through how to stay safe when navigating the world of blockchain and cryptocurrency — an interactive, classroom-style session capped off with a fun Q&A.

Before Josiah took the mic, MNblockchain VP Colin Hirdman gave attendees an update on the federal CLARITY Act. Colin, along with board members Alex Schoephoerster and president Brandon Ferdig, recently met with US Rep. (and original CLARITY co-sponsor) Bryan Steil at a roundtable hosted by St. Cloud Financial Credit Union — so Colin had plenty of fresh detail on where the bill stands and what attendees can do about it.

From there, Josiah broke down the threats that actually put people at risk — wallet drainers, address poisoning, and the sneaky points of failure that get missed until it's too late — plus the defense habits that keep you safe, like reading every signature request and never copying a destination address straight out of a transaction.
