Blockchain Block Party, and a New Chapter with Stand With Crypto

Hundreds of people came out on Saturday night to Minneapolis's North Loop Green, an outdoor venue nestled downtown between highrises and overpasses, for the Blockchain Block Party.

Attendees visited booths (including ours and MN Crypto Council's), played outdoor games, enjoyed the NFT art gallery, and tasted offerings from nearby food trucks, which accepted crypto. Stand With Crypto, the organizer of this multicity event tour, even gifted every attendee $20 in USDC to spend.

What really got people moving was the last hour-plus of the evening: a concert from the band GROUPLOVE. A fitting name for the night, and for this growing community.

The evening also marked a new chapter for us. MNblockchain now has a national partner in Stand With Crypto, and on this night we announced the kick-off of their Minnesota chapter.

Whether it's laws and regulation, blockchain enterprise, startup support, media efforts, or community growth, this event represented a new chapter in the development of all of these areas.
