Internship: Marketing Intern for Non-Profit Organization

About Us: MNB is a nimble and impactful organization, acting as a hub in the state and beyond for education and events focused on emerging technologies—blockchain, AI, and cryptocurrency. We seek a passionate Marketing Intern to help amplify our message and reach a broader audience.
Position Overview: We seek a motivated Marketing Intern to assist with developing and producing marketing strategies that promote our organization’s mission, programs, and events. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector and to make a meaningful contribution to a cause they care about.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack.
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to increase engagement and reach.
- Create and schedule regular newsletters and email campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Assist in the planning and promotion of fundraising events and community outreach initiatives.
- Monitor and report on marketing analytics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Support content creation for the organization’s blog or website, including writing articles or sourcing guest contributions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and an understanding of their respective audiences.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
